OpenPolicy at Fed Supernova 2025

OpenPolicy at Fed Supernova 2025

This month, the OpenPolicy team was on the ground at Fed Supernova in Austin, Texas, engaging with innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders at the intersection of defense, dual-use technologies, cybersecurity, and AI policy.

Connecting with Defense & Policy Leaders

Our visit included impactful conversations with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and the Texas Association of Business, where we explored how public–private collaboration can accelerate innovation in cybersecurity and national defense. We also had the privilege of visiting the Texas State Legislature, connecting directly with policymakers to discuss how policy and technology can align to strengthen security and economic growth.

Collaboration with Industry & Investors

Fed Supernova brought together some of the most forward-thinking voices in defense innovation and cyber. We joined the Capital Factory & NightDragon dinner, a gathering of industry leaders, investors, and security experts, for conversations on the opportunities and challenges of scaling dual-use technologies.

Driving the Policy Conversation

Throughout the event, OpenPolicy played an active role in discussions on dual-use innovation, cyber readiness, and AI governance. These conversations underscored the importance of ensuring that policy not only keeps pace with innovation but also empowers it.

At OpenPolicy, we’re proud to be part of the dialogue shaping the future of defense and technology. Our mission is to ensure that companies innovating in cybersecurity, AI, and dual-use technologies have the tools and access they need to engage in policy effectively and strategically.
