OpenPolicy supported innovative companies' inclusion in the United States Cyber Defense Agency, DHS, CISA, and Secure by Design Pledge announced at RSA 2024.

The CISA's Secure by Design pledge initiative aims to promote a secure by design culture, founded on guiding principles provided by CISA.

Companies that signed the pledge have promised to actively pursue the objectives outlined within it. This pledge includes seven specific goals designed to significantly mitigate the widespread threats identified by CISA. By participating, software manufacturers can showcase their dedication to product security to both their customers and the public, aligning with CISA's broader mission to enhance national security.

As CISA's Director Jen Easterly highlighted, Secure-by-Design software is the best way for our nation to realize a more resilient future and escape the incident response cycle.

Dr. Amit Elazari, CEO and Co-Founder of OpenPolicy, provided the following statement:

"Innovative companies stand at the leading edge of creating and deploying security solutions that protect us all. OpenPolicy appreciates the opportunity to support the pledge by connecting innovative companies with policy leaders, and we look forward to continuing our close partnership with CISA and the U.S. government as this key effort towards better cybersecurity posture for our nation continues".
